WHO WE ARE
Isco Food Traders takes its name from its founders surnames Paul Ianus and Luke Coffey. The pair met whilst studying business at Trinity College, Dublin and have a background in product development, ingredient sourcing and brand building.
Since graduating the founders have participated in Trinity's Blackstone "Launchpad" student incubator, Bord Bia’s Food works program, the SuperValu Food Academy and are currently taking part in Enterprise Ireland's New Frontiers development at DIT, Grangegorman.
Over the past five years the founders have been forging trading partnerships with some of Europe's largest ingredient manufacturers and now exclusively represent these partners on the Island of Ireland.
WHAT WE DO
To build up trusted trading relationships we must travel to country of origin and inspect the growing conditions. For us this means getting on plane and carrying out physical inspections during harvest. Global sourcing has become the norm within the food industry; this has only increased the need and value of building personal relationships with the growers of our food. All of our ingredients come with batch specific testing to ensure our ingredients comply with all market regulation. This eurolab testing reassures our customers, and in turn their clients, that they have full traceability on the ingredients bought with our trading company.

Our direct supply links to some of Europe’s largest food producers allows for our customers to enjoy consistent pricing for quality BRC/FSC/ORGANIC certified ingredients delivered directly to their food premises. For larger orders we offer consolidated pricing and complementary, fully conditioned, BRC compliant food-grade storage. The customer simply draws down and pays as they use their ingredients. This aids the ease of traceability and ultimately results in a more consistent end product.

On top of the sale of semi-finished ingredients ISCO also produces a number of innovative food solutions. All of our channel specific products are IOA certified-organic and produced under BRC grade A conditions here in Ireland.
